“Dr. Angela Peery came to Australia earlier this year and worked with principals, literacy leader’s and teachers across the Hume Region in Victoria on the topic of nonfiction writing – writing to learn and learning to write. Her knowledge and experience has impacted on the teachers’ practice in our classrooms as teachers have adopted many of her strategies. The professional learning we had with Angela in person was followed up by webinars that all teachers have been able to access. Her dedication is demonstrated by her working live with our teachers despite the time differences between our countries.”
