His classroom experience lends tremendous credibility to the audience, and his research-based practices are outstanding. We just wish he lived closer to Conroe so we could have him more often.”
—Jean E. Stewart, Admin Deputy Superintendent, Conroe ISD
“Jan is very easy to plan and collaborate on our district initiative for math. He has done some excellent coaching sessions and we look forward to our future training.”

“As always, our experiences with the Center have been positive and of the highest quality professional development. Jan is an excellent trainer and is able to adjust his presentation with the needs of our teachers. His plans changed for the afternoon after the morning review and discovering teachers were not where they needed to be with Balanced Math in their buildings. We spent time working on problem solving creating grade level write-ups and rubrics for schools to use. Jan continues to keep our district up to date with changes and research each time he presents.”
—Karen Spencer, Supervisor of Assessment, Greater Clark County of Schools, IN
