Loan Mascorro is school principal and a Professional Development Associate for The Leadership and Learning Center. In addition to her expertise in Education Technology, Loan dynamically shares her knowledge and strategies for implementing essential skills for school sites by utilizing Data Teams, Decision Making for Results, and Common Formative Assessments to provide staff members with proven tools to increase learning for all students in measurable ways.
Loan will take a staff, district, partner districts, and participating community members step by step through targeted areas of learning that identify crucial areas for change and improvement, based on her own successful implementation of data teams and analytical processes at multiple sites. Using motivational tools and knowledge gained from over thirteen years of experience as a teacher, guest speaker, data analyst and administrator; implementation of proven research based strategies will enable results to occur in predictable and measurable ways.
Each visit is organized and planned precisely to meet the specific needs communicated by the professional learning communities and the instructional strategies that are crucial to the demands of students and educators. Every seminar, meeting, conference call, and service provided are organized to allow participants to use their inherent strengths – which when combined with the expertise of The Leadership and Learning Center, Loan is able to facilitate improved and sustained gains in knowledge and instruction. Her collaboration with leading educators allows best practices to be disseminated in timely and useful ways, in order for schools to make decisions that will impact learning in sustainable and essential ways.
Mrs. Mascorro is fortunate to reside in a vibrant community in Los Angeles County, California. An emphasis on fitness through gymnastics, soccer, swimming, SCUBA diving, biking, community events, sporting events, museums, libraries, and concerts allows her to celebrate time together with her husband and two children, as well as a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
