Dr. Stephen White is a nationally known educational leader with proven expertise in data analysis, systems, leadership assessment, program evaluation, and school improvement that is helping to change the way educators view themselves and manage data in an era of high-stakes accountability and testing.
His deep experience as a public school administrator includes 19 years of service as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Executive Director, Higher Education BOCES CEO, High School Principal, and Coordinator of Special Education, most recently as Executive Director for Accountability, Research, & Evaluation in Denver Public Schools.
He is the author of several books, including Leadership Maps ( 2009), Beyond the Numbers, Show Me the Proof, and School Improvement for the Next Generation (2010). He has authored numerous articles, and two invited chapters for bestselling authors, including “Data on Purpose” in Ahead of the Curve (2007). As a former superintendent and high school principal, Dr. White brings over 35 years of experience at all levels. His resume includes extensive work forging partnerships between K-12 and higher education, as well as leadership in Special Education, Crisis Management, and Tech Prep. He is the primary author of the PIM™ school improvement framework, the Leadership Map, and has reviewed over 2,300 school improvement plans since 2005. He is active in his church, The Rock: Real Community, and lives with his lovely wife, Linda in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Dr. White has been privileged to work with Regent University since 2006, is a Senior Professional Development Associate for the internationally-acclaimed Leadership and Learning Center, a leader in providing innovative educational services and solutions to educational challenges on four continents.
