The Leadership and Learning Center has a job opportunity for an Account Executive (Sales Representative) to support The Center in maintaining and growing a specific sales territory. The Center provides world-class professional development services for educators and school leaders who serve students pre K-12.

Positions Available:
You have a proven track record selling Professional Development services to K-12 education. You are highly motivated and self directed and feel successful when exceeding your goals. You offer extraordinary customer service to your clients. You have the desire and ability to problem solve with the clients’ best interests in mind. You have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM solution. You bring your creative energy into your work as an individual and as a dynamic team member.
- Sales of professional development services to the K-12 profession in a designated territory.
- Implement territorial marketing campaigns, in conjunction with corporate marketing initiatives.
- Transform leads into prospects, transform prospects into clients, and transform clients into long-term partnerships.
- Work harmoniously in a team environment.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessment with clients for a solution-based sales approach.
- Set and attain SMART annual territory goals, with follow-through in the selling of professional development, publications, and permanent resources.
- Enter all client communication and opportunities in The Center’s CRM.
- Prospecting for new business.
- Follow up on warm leads to drive new business.
- Complete follow-up with clients after each engagement during which the opportunity to up-sell should be utilized.
- Sustain relationships with current and previous clients.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales with a proven track record of exceeding multimillion dollar sales quotas.
- Must have experience selling to K-12.
- Must have experience selling Professional Development Services.
- Superior oral and written communication.
- Ability to set and achieve goals.
- Self starter with initiative.
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
- People skills including comfort dealing with senior executives and political leaders at the local, state, and national level.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent sales opportunities.
- Proficient with technology; Email, MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Internet.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- Able to function well as a part of team.
- Knowledge and experience in a school district and working with professional development plans.
- Ability to travel (limited – less than 20%)
