Certification Training from The Center
Certification training is tailor-made for schools and districts that wish to increase their capacity to offer on-site, sustainable staff development. By training your own cadre of staff developers via The Center’s certification training, your school or district can save money while working toward raising student achievement.
During budget-strapped times it makes even more sense to stop spending money on sending your educators to seminars and start spending money on certifying them to deliver seminars in your school system. The certification model from The Leadership and Learning Center makes this possible.
Benefit from significant cost-savings by having key district leaders trained in the areas of assessment, teaching strategies, response to intervention, English language learners, and data analysis.
During the certification process, you will be an active learner as you apply core content, problem solve, and engage in performance-based learning activities. Throughout the three days, you will work on your skills as a facilitator and practice teaching parts of the content in a supportive environment. You will receive immediate feedback on content and effective adult learning methods, as well as coaching from an experienced Professional Development Associate.
