In 2002 The Leadership and Learning Center, formerly the Center for Performance Assessment, conducted The National Leadership Evaluation Study and concluded that 18% of leaders had never received an evaluation in their current position. Worse yet, 82% of those who were evaluated found the evaluation process inconsistent, ambiguous, and counterproductive. The results were clear: educational leaders were not getting the proper feedback to succeed.
