Transformational Schools

This seminar is provided in two separate three-hour sessions. Part I provides practical proven strategies for creating short-term gains in student achievement by significant changes in teaching, curriculum, and leadership practices. Participants receive clear research, action-oriented measurable strategies, and reproducible forms and checklists to monitor their progress in implementing effective change. Part II should be scheduled approximately four months after Part I. The focus of Part II is the monitoring of the implementation of the practices and the achievement of goals that were established in Part I. Please note: The follow-up of Part II is an integral part of this seminar.

Who should participate? Principals, administrators, teacher-leaders, site team members, department chairs, central office support personnel, federal program administrators, and others involved in leading or providing assistance to under-performing schools will benefit from this seminar. If there are more than 60 participants, The Center will provide one additional facilitator for each additional group of 60 participants.
