In this interactive Webinar, Dr. Douglas B. Reeves and his colleagues at The Leadership and Learning Center will present new ideas in linking the assessment of students, teachers, and leaders to create a new generation of accountability systems. “Three forces are driving a new look at accountablity systems,” Dr. Reeves contends. “First, states and districts have significant financial incentives to create new evaluation systems. Second, poorly planned and executed evaluation systems will have unintended and potentially disastrous consequences. Third, test-based accountablity is insufficient to meet the needs of students, educational leaders, and policymakers.” This webinar will address the challenges and opportunities of new generation accountability systems and provide practical alternatives for school, district, and state leaders.

  • How do I measure the implementation of initiatives?
  • How do I gain focus at the organizational level?

  • How do I gain focus at the individual level?
  • What is a process for “weeding the garden” without uprooting our most important ideas?
  • What are the risks and rewards of closing the implementation gap?
