Writing to Learn 1: Processes and Products
This one-day seminar reviews the essentials of the writing process and focuses on various written products teachers can use at all grade levels. A discussion of creating good writing prompts is included. Participants leave the seminar with an action plan for implementing increased writing in their classrooms. This seminar is not intended for teachers who have extensive training in or experience using nonfiction writing but is instead best for new teachers (or for teachers who have limited experience using content area writing with students).
