Response to Intervention (RTI) is a comprehensive student-centered assessment and intervention model used to address individual academic difficulties.  This seminar is designed to provide a comprehensive structure and intervention strategies to help general educators meet the needs of struggling learners.

What is the Powerful Strategies for Response to Intervention one day seminar?

At the conclusion of this seminar the participants will:

  • Know the research base and reason behind Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Understand the three and four tier model of intervention
  • Learn to use the components of the data team process to unwrap prioritized standards and analyze student work
  • Apply effective, scientific-based and research-based intervention strategies to a classroom action plan

This seminar is appropriate for general education and special education teachers, academic coaches, paraprofessionals and school administrators, kindergarten through twelfth grade.  It provides a systematic approach to data analysis, goal setting and appropriate instructional intervention.  Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate and develop skills that can be used in class the next day.
