How Do I Get Started?
Create a proposal that includes the following information:
- Working title for your book
- Main idea of the book including tentative Table of Contents complete with chapter titles and chapter synopses and expand on the questions below:
1.) What is compelling you to develop this title? Why do people need help on the topic at this time? How is the topic of increasing rather than passing or declining importance?
2.) What is the work designed to accomplish? How does it meet the need you have identified?
3.) What new information is offered? In what ways would the work add to current knowledge and practice?
4.) Who is this book for? Teachers? Principals? Superintendents? What is the teaching environment? Will the subject matter translate across all schools with all levels of support?
5.) What similar works are now available? (Amazon is a great place to research...).
6.) How is this resource part of a comprehensive implementation system that includes publications, professional development, and services? Please describe the associated professional development seminars and services in detail

What happens next?
- We will acknowledge receipt of your manuscript.
- Publisher will manage review of the proposal and ultimately tender recommendation to either accept, accept with modifications, or pass. This process will take up to eight weeks.
- Accepted proposals will receive personal attention with details about the next steps to prepare the manuscript.
